Should I expect any VoIP services interruption during blackouts ?

     Due to dependency on a few components of infrastructure you may come across issue when you are not able to make or receive call during the electricity interruption at your house. You can decrease risk by using UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply) for your ISP modem and adapter (or dedicated VoIP phone), but still can be some ISP service interruption in your district during outages. We recommend to have a backup PSTN phone that is powered by the telephone line or have an alternative like a mobile phone handy.
